Black Shield Security (“we”, “us”) operates blackshieldsecurity.ca. We are committed to protecting personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable privacy laws.
Information we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, organization, country, services of interest, preferred language, timeline and message. Our web server also records standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of visit) for security and spam prevention.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to your request, to prepare proposals you ask for, and to protect this website from abuse. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Storage and retention
Form submissions are delivered to our business email system. We keep inquiry records only as long as needed to respond and to maintain business records, after which they are deleted. We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Third parties
This website uses Google Fonts to display typography, which means your browser connects to Google servers. We use no advertising trackers. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf under their own security obligations.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing info@blackshieldsecurity.ca.
